Sisanda FunDaytion (SF) is a 10 year old NGO active in the western cape. SF is focused on ensuring the value of recreation is experienced by all children. Vulnerable children in our townships very rarely get the opportunity to learn, play and grow in different environments, with new people and in new ways. SF has a variety of programmes which, through volunteers, work to help children have a little fun while expanding their minds and horizons. We arrange outings to experience what Cape Town has to offer, set up after school extra mural groups to learn new skills and enable more privileged high school youth to share their time and energy with less privileged primaries school children.
With the changes of our current reality SF is engaging in food distributions, Storytime and developing approaches to enable healthy activities within vulnerable households. Please see more about what we do through our website or Facebook http://www.sisanda.org.za/home https://www.facebook.com/sisanda.fundaytion/ |
